Size Guide
A comfy hat starts with the right measurement. Grab a soft tape measure, check their head size and find their fit below.
Buying again? Check the centimetres. Burnt Toast and Little Georgie use different size letters, so the size name you bought before may have changed.
How to measure
- Wrap a soft measuring tape around their head, just above the eyebrows and ears, where the hat will sit.
- Keep it comfortably snug without pulling it tight.
- Check the measurement against the correct range below.
No measuring tape? Use a piece of string, then lay it flat against a ruler.
Head measurements are your best guide. Ages are approximate, because little heads grow at their own pace.
Burnt Toast sizing
For hats carrying the Burnt Toast label.

Same measurement, different size name: a 51 cm hat is Small in Burnt Toast and Medium in Little Georgie. Always check the centimetres before ordering.
Between sizes?
We recommend choosing the next size up, then using the adjustable back toggle to fine-tune the fit.
The hat should sit comfortably and securely, with the brim clear of their eyes. If it slips down or feels loose even after adjustment, it is too big.
